About Nuncas Marine: Certified Biodegradable Boat Cleaning & Maintenance

Nuncas Marine products stand alone on the market as the only boat cleaning and maintenance solutions with an official certification guaranteeing their biodegradability in seawater. This crucial characteristic protects marine life and maintains the ocean's delicate ecosystem.

Our Heritage: A Century of Nuncas Quality in Home & Marine Care

At Nuncas Marine, we are proud to be a specialized line born from the rich heritage and century-long expertise of Nuncas, a revered Italian company synonymous with excellence in home care. For over 100 years, Nuncas has dedicated itself to developing high-quality, innovative solutions that bring impeccable cleanliness and lasting protection to homes around the world.

Our story began with a passion for caring for cherished spaces, and that same dedication has now seamlessly extended to the open waters. Nuncas Marine was created to bring Nuncas's profound understanding of materials and advanced chemical formulations to the nautical world, addressing the unique challenges and demands of boat cleaning and maintenance.

Uniquely Certified for Marine Protection: Our Biodegradability Guarantee

Inspired by a deep respect for the environment, particularly our precious marine ecosystems, Nuncas Marine products are meticulously crafted to deliver high performance while being fully biodegradable in saltwater. What sets Nuncas Marine apart is that our commitment to biodegradability is uniquely backed by an official certification.

This is proven by a certificate issued by Innovhub SSI in January 2025, following rigorous testing of ten key Nuncas Marine products according to OECD 306 standards. These tests confirmed a degradation trend identifying them as biodegradable samples in a marine environment and demonstrated no toxic or inhibitory effects on the testing environment's biota over approximately 40 days.

The Nuncas Marine products officially certified as biodegradable in a marine environment include:
