Cal-tek S.r.l. is a spin-off company of the University of Calabria (Italy), specialized in the development of advanced digital solutions for education and professional training. With a strong focus on innovation, it integrates technologies such as Simulation, Virtual and Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, and Serious Games to create immersive and interactive training tools.
Its flagship product is C-BridgeSim, a Ship Bridge Simulator certified by RINA and designed to provide realistic training compliant with the international STCW standards. Available in various configurations, from desktop to full mission, C-BridgeSim includes tools such as ARPA Radar, ECDIS, GMDSS, and AIS, enabling comprehensive bridge team training in customizable scenarios.
Cal-tek actively collaborates with academic institutions and research centers worldwide, maintaining a close connection with the MSC-LES laboratory at the University of Calabria. This synergy allows it to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs of the maritime sector.
